Ciao a tutti. Vi invio in lingua l'invito al 2° festival pan europeo che si terrà in Epiro, nei sette giorni tra il 30 ottobre e il 5 novembre. C'è un link su Facebook, al quale non sono iscritto, e quindi se qualcuno lo va a vedere per me (noi) e ci trascrive bene tutte le date e le opportunità ci fa un grosso favore. Vi ricordo che lì, sull'Arachtos e Kallaritikos (III e IV grado) c'è sempre acqua, ci sono vicino altri fiumi e torrenti tra i più belli della Grecia e ci si arriva viaggiando sul ferry - boat di notte e giungendo in un'ora e mezza da Igoumenitsa a Plaka, sede del meeting. Si campeggia e si mangia con pochi €.
Le parti in rosso sono le risposte di Nikos Mavris, di "Via Natura", nonchè proprietario dell'Hotel "Teloneio", alle mie domande, riguardanti gli esiti del terremoto che ha colpito l'Epiro. Giostratevi la email un po' da soli tra domande, risposte e inglese. Si capisce abbastanza bene.
Se qualcuno fosse interessato, soci FICT in particolare e CCM, purchè canoisti questi ultimi, ma non solo - la rivista PAGAIANDO ha riportato bene il bello di questa parte della Grecia - lo riferisca al forum che proviamo ad organizzarci. Il clima laggiù è ancora ottimo in qs periodo dell'anno e i fiumi grandiosi.

Sorry for my delate answer but but due to the earthquake we had problems with the network.I hear about the earthquake there, near Arta. I do hope that you haven’t had any problem in Teloneio hotel .
Tell me, please! I and Italians are sensitive to the consequences of earthquakes.
The earthquake took place in our city in Ioannina. We are just fine now... we "shake" enough throughout the nights, but fortunately there were no human loss or injures nor home falls.
5.5 the main quake with 205 aftershocks during the nights!!!!!!
The hotel is fine ....And then another question. I know that there is nextly a canoe meeting of German paddlers in Plaka. Maybe now, this year is too late to organize for italian paddlers too, but nextly I can organize a kayak trip there in the same period, just for last in the year before the cold season. Tell me who, what, when, where, why, overall about logistic and sleeping, in hotel or in tents and about the water levels at the end of october.
No it is not meeting of Germans kayakers. It is the second pan-European festival kayak in Greece and it take place in Plaka on our kayak camp.
They take part kayakers from all nationalities, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, England, France, etc ... and of course they can come and Italians !!!Below is the link to advertise the meeting in facebook.
